We are looking for Driving Instructors who are passionate about teaching people how to tow. Ideally, we would like someone who has a lot of experience and is able to provide a fun and engaging learning experience.

Tow-Wise is looking for patient driving instructors to teach our learners how to pull their domestic trailers.

The driving instructor's responsibilities include: Planning and delivering the Tow-Wise lessons that promote learners theoretical and applied driving skills.
Providing instruction on the parts and functions of a vehicle and on-road regulations
Teaching practical skills related to all aspects of driving
Maintaining control of the vehicle during emergency situations
Provide constructive feedback to develop the learner's confidence.
Ensure that students take adequate time to learn and master driving skills.
Educate students on safe driving habits.
Encourage students to practice driving skills after class to maintain skills.
Develop an efficient training process.
Maintain a safe and healthy driving environment.
Track student progress using management software. Maintain a professional demeanor with all students.

Job Requirements:
The successful candidate must possess:
Valid Class 1 driver's license with at least 5 years of professional driving experience
Acceptable driving abstract
Thorough knowledge of the Traffic Safety Act, Provincial Hours of Service, Cargo Securement, Weights & Dimensions, and Pre-trip Inspections.
The successful candidate is required to be fully trained in both code 20 and code 54 endorsements
Must have Professional Driver Training Instructor status.
